Keep hearing commercials about Upside and their cash back program, is it legit or a scam?

It’s legit. I’m sure they sell your data, but you can earn some cash back eventually. Might make like 50 bucks in 6-12 months.

Yes, I will use it when I fill up with gas. They have cash back with other places too but gas is an easy cashback. Just a fun little way of picking up extra "beer money."

It's legit, but it ended up not being worth the hassle for me. I used it for gas and got anywhere from $.05 - $0.15 back per gallon depending on the the time of day and the location.

It's legit, just like the Ibotta and Fetch apps. The companies take your receipts to track your data and spending so they can send it back to grocers to find out what they need to sell more of. It's super invasive, if you really care, but you're probably on the internet often enough to where everyone has your data.

I've had it for some time now. I usually get an amazon gift card when I hit $100, gotten 3 so far.

A gas station by my house has a 15 cent offer up all the time so I use it, but like others said it will take a year to earn 100 bucks basically so not a lot of upside

I don't know about that. The commercial assures me that I will be earning hundreds of dollars all the time.

I use it, it's not a ton of money but it adds up. It happens where a station near my house has the cheapest fuel prices and biggest cash backs, so I'm going there anyway, might as well. I think I've gotten about $120 so far.

You can make money pretty fast if you own a huge fleet of 18 wheelers

It only works with certain gas stations. I would have to go out of my way to find the right gas station. I use apps for specific stations near me, ie Pilot, or grocery points, ie Brookshires or Kroger, and save .10 a gallon at fillup. Same result as upside only I get my savings at the pump. Or fill up at Sam's.

I use it. Once you're signed up, it's really not much work. If you're going to fill up, just remember to open the app and claim an offer before swiping your card. Depending on the offers in your area and size of your tank, you can probably get $1.50-2 per fill-up. Adds up and it's just clicking a couple buttons.

I stack it with a Racetrac rewards program that gives me another 10c or so per gallon.

Company pays for mine too and a fill up 2-3 times a week being on the road. With it on their dime I’ll take some free money if offered.
