Not sure if it happened yesterday or today but I see a lot of people taking about it on social media.
He’s a New Orleans businessman for people not familiar with him.

Crazy news. Who is going to take over his real estate portfolio?

You’re probably familiar with the real estate he owns. He famously owns the falling apart plaza tower in New Orleans.
Not sure what this means for the building, but hopefully it sparks a sale and eventual demolition.

Mr. Jaeger began as an apprentice plumber in NO and ended up as a prominent developer.
His life story is what America is all about.

Jaeger’s on West End was the OG Sunday afternoon party place circa 90s /2000…. Used to see Al Copeland pull up in his speedboat quite often.. danced with former Saints part-owner Rita Benson there.. was probably owned by different Jaeger though .

A shame he didn’t bow out and retire a few years back. His legacy is marred by all these big projects that didn’t go anywhere instead of the plumber turned tycoon

Yes it was, but Joe didn't own the restaurant.
He will be missed, he did plenty of good for the city.

He's a POS that buys properties that says he'll develop and then sit on them for years to flip them.
I more blame New Orleans politicians for allowing him to do this for all these years.
So who's the richest Developer in New Orleans now?
