Joe Rogan Podcast: Nick Yarris...thoughts from the OT?

Recently, Joe Rogan has Nick Yarris on his podcast. If you don’t know the name Nick Yarris, there’s a documentary on Netflix called “The Fear of 13” and it’s about Yarris. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to death. 22 years later, he was exonerated due to DNA proving he wasn’t the man who committed the rape and murder.
Today he’s a public speaker. That’s as far as I’ll go because in the podcast, he explains what he’s been up to lately.
I figured the OT might enjoy this one. I couldn’t get 15 minutes in without thinking this guy was full of shite. The fake crying. The continual pitching of his book and movie. He couldn’t even afford to buy clothes, that he’s wearing his friends clothes...The bullshite Twitter excuse the day before his daughter died. He even used GoFundMe (the OTs favorite site) to try to help for his daughters funeral.
It’s a bit lengthy and i know a lot of you don’t have the 1hour+, but if you have a few minutes on your drive to work or in your cubicle, I’m curious as to how far you can get before you think this guy is a complete sociopath. He may have gone through something none of us could ever comprehend, but I can’t be the only one that just can’t believe a word this guy is saying.

I couldn’t finish it. The dude whines way too much trying to up sell. I feel bad the system allegedly screwed the guy, but it didn’t push my sympathy button.

I completely agree. The dude is full of shite. Played the pity card after every bad decision he supposedly made.
Fake as frick
It took me 15 minutes to realize i was listening to a con man

A much better one imo is Peter Attia's The Drive ep with Corey McCarthy. No whining but a gripping story about fricking up your life and redemption.

I hated the episode, but listened to the whole thing much like I would stare at a bad car accident. Dude’s super weird.

That guy is a fricking psychopath. I listened to the whole thing waiting for joe to call him on his shite but it never happened.
No doubt in my mind he killed his daughter.

I had to turn it off. He just kept jumping all over the place when telling a story. It was impossible to follow along with what happened according to him.
He just couldn't finish a single subject without jumping to another.

This. That new dna bullshite where they let criminals go free is a load of crap that’ll never be as good as old fashion police work. I hear it stands for “do not awaken” because the cops use it when they wanna pin a crime on somebody and go take a nap

You don't know what you're talking about.

It’s his sad little act he spends all day on here doing. Just ignore him

I wanted to watch it but it's depressing as frick.

He plays like he’s been wronged and just can’t catch a break. His perception of reality is off kilter. That’s one o the few Rogan podcasts I had to stop.

Well being in prison doesn't necessarily make you the wealthiest person...

Yeah. Someone should have left him in.

I started it and couldn't get very far. The dude was so obviously full of shite. I was hoping that Joe would press him on some of his lies, but he never did, so I turned it off. Maybe he did later in the episode, but I couldn't take it anymore.
