Anyone searching? Gold and Greed on Netflix is the documentary of Forrest Fenns treasure . At the end, one of the hunters tells you that he hid more treasure.

Here is the poem:

Beyond the Map's Edge

Can you find what lives in time,
Flowing through each measured rhyme?
Wisdom waits in shadowed sight—
For those who read these words just right.

As hope surges, clear and bright,
Walk near waters’ silent flight.
Round the bend, past the Hole,
I wait for you to cast your pole.

In ursa east his realm awaits;
His bride stands guard at ancient gates.
Her foot of three at twenty degree,
Return her face to find the place.

Double arcs on granite bold,
Where secrets of the past still hold.
Beyond the reach of time’s swift race,
Wonder guards this sacred space.

Truth rests not in clever minds,
Not in tangled, twisted finds.
Like a river’s steady flow—
What you seek, you already know.

Tons of folks online think that Polaris, Montana is the area it’s hidden in. I tend to agree. Comet was part of the treasure. He used a Saddleback briefcase to display the treasure during the documentary. Both mountain names there.

Start in Wisdom, MT, go around the bend in the highway, exit the Big Hole Valley, and go to Justin’s favorite fishing spots.

Ursa is lowercased. Ursa Minor has Polaris as part of it. Also, the author spent his summers there and has a home there.

“Ursa” is also Latin for bear, its being written in lower-case might be a hint toward that. Grizzlies are especially prominent in the northwest and east of the Continental Divide. So “ursa east” could mean east of a bear-related landmark or a region where bears roam like Glacier National Park or the Bob Marshall Wilderness.

Wait, so this guy hid more treasure while hunting for the original treasure that he never found?

Yeah. He worked for Microsoft Google etc in the 00s. Worked for them nonstop for a decade. He is loaded.

He bought some of Forrest’s treasure at auction and put some in the chest.

Cool story.

Even crazier are the folks who sued Fenn and the finder.

For a strange story read about Tommy Thompson and the SS Central America treasure. Guy still in jail after 10+ years after refusing to turn over gold he was hired to find.
