Kama Sutra strip club (French quarter) in hot water

Our Matwani friend, Lambo Vish, strip club had its liquor license pulled this morning due to prostitution, under aged drinking and drug dealing inside this classy establishment.
I wonder if Sydney Torres had anything to do after he outbid the Motwani’s on a Frenchman Street development. Same deal that Motwani’s told Torres “it will get bloody”

Investigators discovered the primary manager of Kama Sutra, Kenneth Rancifer, is a convicted felon and is not legally allowed to manage a bar.
Authorities found the club was operating under “hidden ownership,” Marine-Lombard said. Property records, the liquor license and the club’s business records on file with the Secretary of State all list Chandru Motwani as club manager, but Marine-Lombard said investigators found that it was actually being operated by Vishal “Vish” Motwani. An attorney for Chandru Motwani, Ryan O. Luminais, said the business is “separate and distinct” from the better-known real estate and retail businesses owned and operated by the father-son team of Kishore “Mike” and Aaron Motwani.

I don't think anyone needs to point out the Motwani's are shitty people.
But yeah, when you do shady shite it is probably a good idea not to make well connected enemies.

Pretty sure the Motwani’s money all comes from shitty T-shirt shops on bourbon street. I guess now they are dabbling in strip clubs
Well I guess the rub and tug spas too!

Had no idea. I only knew about the T-shirt places
I’m guessing they own the shitty ones on bourbon and the ones just off bourbon on iberville or whatever? I think all of them were busted for prostitution

In November, Rancifer "intentionally enticed an undercover agent who was 16 years old into Kama Sutra and the minor was served three alcoholic beverages, “thereby contributing to the delinquency of a minor,” Marine-Lombard said.
Another undercover agent the same month was solicited for sex in exchange for money, and again in January, Marine-Lombard said.
So drinking underage isn't ok because it's dangerous, but using minors as undercover informants in strip clubs while dealing with felons is perfectly acceptable. Got it.

I wish the cops cared as much about driving 100 mph on the Interstate as they do about morality laws.

The rumors are the City pushed this ordinance through because was one purported organized crime family who owned these strip bars were allegedly was dealing drugs to the street peddlers and conducting human trafficking operations out of their strips joints in the Quarter. This family was allegedly targeted by other organized families, businesses, hotels, and influential residents because they believed the crime rates soared in the quarter due to the actions of this owner. Could be some truth to this because the crime rates in the Quarter have dropped since they shut down those seedy strip bars.
There are suggestions that the issue came to a head when that white sniper van was caught in Metairie and that perhaps those folks were going to take out the owners of the now shut down strip joints because it was affecting their businesses. Total speculation but that's what people are saying without any supporting evidence so it could be all bullshite.
There are strong rumors throughout the city government that the Motawani family is purportedly the next family targeted to be run out of NOLA right now by these same coalition of diverse but highly influential groups. Supposedly this coalition wants them to sell all of their real estate holdings in New Orleans and if they don't get their way the Feds will likely help the Motawani's find their way out of NOLA. The Motawani's also own Stilletos and Scores in the french quarter so I would suspect that the head will rain down on those establishments next in this war over control.
