All of the white kids said the n word.
So this is clearly justified.

Yeah I wish the coach would have let the team try and gang rush the kid and beat his arse. I wouldn't have tried to stop a fight.

My dad would have beat my arse if I ever did something like that. This kids dad, if he has one in his life, probably praised him.

Should be charged with assault. Need to see what happened before that to see how many people charged.

Screw that, what ever league this occurred in should ban him from any and all sports they offer.

At least when I checked the majority of the comments were in support of the assailant, not the assaulted.
Of course. Whities deserved it. Assailant dindu.

my dad never intervened in my trials and tribulations as a kid, exact opposite of a helicopter but the one time he was fit to be tied and I asked him to back off was on the last day of jhs, we had had our field day and everyone was waiting for the 3:00 bell, this was during integration and we had been integrated with a very bad black part of town, a bunch of brothers from the former all black hs came to our school to try and start some shite, for no reason of course, about ten minutes before the bell I got jumped by 6-8 black kids, some high school kids and some of my "classmates," they roughed me up pretty good until some of my friends could get over to intervene, I really wasn't hurt too bad but my face was a mess, my dad was livid when he came home and had quite a bit of political clout in our town but for some reason I just wanted to let it go and my mom talked him out of pursuing it

Sportsmanship from players, coaches and fan has become an afterthought.
Sports used to be a chance for some kids to grow and have a strong mentor. Not it's just another avenue to be a dick.

what's that got to do with it?
Meaning they were probably in a private school or an otherwise good school that still held them accountable during Covid. My kids are in private school, so they were still being held accountable for their school work.
