Do you cut a piece in a color coded fashion (just one color of sugar topping), or do you just arbitrarily slice like a starving fatty?

Your Mom generally handles such things for me.

Ask her.

Slicing like a fatty is the only way.

And you ain’t 504 unless you keep the knife in the box until the entire cake is finished.

My etiquette is buying two king cakes.

A small on for the family.

And a large one for myself that I can slice however I want.

That’s not just a 504 thing. The build up on the knife add more flavor to the next slice.

Color be damned, I'm taking the piece with the most icing and sugar, and or filling. Fight me.

225, 985, and 337 as well. I dunno about the 318. I don't know if they have MG up there.

We keep the knife in the box up here but we’re 504 transplants. (BR was 504 in the 90s)

Cut a small piece from one color and act like I'm just going to have a little, then repeat 4 or 5 times till I get a piece with every color.
