King Cake Shipping Advice

The Randazzo’s in Slidell is no longer accepting shipping orders this King Cake season. They have already met their quota. They told me that I can order the king cake and pick it up in the store, they have the shipping boxes there for three dollars extra. I will then have to go to UPS and do an overnight air shipping.
They are the only ones I like to order from
because I like the plastic containers they use for their king cakes ....it protects the king cake .
Has anyone ever shipped a king cake and do you know approximately how much it would cost?

Check Haydel’s Bakery.
You’re a dumbass for waiting until now.
Think about it, it’s seasonal, the best firms doing this sell out early and always.
Cost: about tree fiddy for 4 cakes

Well I’ve gotten one mailed to me in northeast Ohio from Slidell every February for my birthday since I moved up here early 90’s , it’s always a day or two from expiration but I always appreciate it.

Thanks for the name calling ... appreciate it. I have ordered one every year and never had a problem before..........

OK, Mr Randazzo is a dumbass because he didn’t leave you a reservation for a cake because you ordinarily order one every year.
A thousand pardons...
ETA: Set a reminder to order in July of each year for the following year.
That way if you die in between ordering and the delivery folks will be tripped out.
Also, you’ll get what you want.

Go to the Fed Ex website and get a quote. You’ll have to guesstimate the size and weight, but at least you’ll get an approximation. I’m thinking you can add $50 to the cost of the cake to cover shipping.

Have you checked to see if Manny Randazzo's has any shipping dates left?
Mardi Gras is kind of early this year, so this kind of stuff happens. Haydels is a great option as well as they include a lot of stuff in the box with the cake. They along with any reputable place will ship with overnight delivery in the U.S.

Yeah lot's of these places don't have much capacity and with it being an early Mardi Gras, it's going to be a rough surprise for a many this year.

I had a Caluda's king cake shipped to my sister in Arizona, and they loved it.

Pics of her please?
Could be intriguing as her location in Arizona qualifies for my 500 mile rule.

Randazzos king cake online redirects to Joe’s knows food now. Guess they sold it for the rest of the season.
