Going on a bachelor party to Lake Ouchaita Thurs-Mon. We got two houseboats that we will be driving around until we find a nice cove and will also have a few other jetskis and boats. Anyways, does anyone know if there are any bars on the lake? I see plenty bars in Hot Springs but not sure if any of them are on the lake.

Not sure about bars on the lake, but watch out for the game wardens. They are some tough up there, BUI, littering, etc.

We went to Lake Hamilton a month or so ago. Wardens are out in full force, but we didn't see them pulling anybody over unless they were really jackassing. And even then it was only when they were in or near a wake zone.

There isn't any. My grandparents used to live in a condo in Mountain Harbor Resort on that lake. Most of the lake is part of the Ouchita National Forest and doesn't allow for anything to be built.
The very southern portion by Joplin is the only exception. Mountain Harbor has the nicest Marina in the state of Arkansas. Huge store where you can buy beer and stuff. Also has an awesome restaurant called the Lodge up on the hill above the boat landing. No bars though. I"m not sure if any of the other resorts like Shangri La have a bar onsite but I'm not aware of any.
You'll have to go to Hot Springs in your car to go to a bar.

most of the time we will be parked in a cove fricking around in the water. We will be messing around on the wakeboard/kneeboard, etc as well but it will be away from any traffic or idle zones. We should be alright

We will just get some girls to come to us, we won't be in any condition to operate a vehicle and I doubt there are enough taxis to pick up 24 guys

Depending on where you are, the county might be dry.

The booze has already been purchased. Whenever we check in to get the houseboats I'm sure they will tell us if we need to avoid any parts with alcohol. Couple guys have been on the trip before, said they just found secluded coves and never saw a boat all weekend

There are no taxis way out there. The place is awesome though..beautiful lake, clear water, hundreds of small islands.
Find a good island with a secluded cove and you can fish, swim, camp and get drunk in peace. The lake is huge I suggest getting a map of it...I grew up going on that lake and I still can get lost on it. Takes over an hour to go from one end to the other in a ski boat going 60 mph.
And like I said, the Mountain Harbor Marina has a good restaurant if you want to go in for some food. It also has a Subway.
Hell just talking about it makes me miss the place..loved going to visit my grandparents as a kid. I haven't been up there in years since they moved off to Fayetteville. Hell I kissed my first girl there at 12 years old while watching a movie with her. Met her when her family bought the condo next door. Good times

Six of my buddies and I found one of those islands last summer at Ouachita and made camp. We were across spots to hike, near a few good cliffs, etc. It was awesome, had the island to ourselves and grilled and got shite faced for 2 days.

paging Sun Hog. Pretty sure he knows Ouachita better than most.
If you have plenty of food/booze and can get women to come to where you are staying.. you have no reason to go to Hot Springs.. you'll be drunk driving on 2 lane highways with about 3 different jurisdictions of cops looking for drunk people like you. It isn't a quick or easy drive.
If you do go into town, get hotel rooms for that night.
