I need to see an eye doctor regarding some floaters. Would also like to have lasik on one eye.

Is LaHaye the go to place? Which doctors?

Thanks in advance.

Just stay away from anything that says Louisiana Eye and Lazer. That is the most incompetent group of human beings I have ever encountered. Think DMV bad.

Dr Charles Williamson (who I guess is Dr Blake's father) did mine in 2006 and I'm still 20/20 or better. My vision was terrible before. I'd do commercials for those people for free.

I had the other eye done in 2000 by Thomas Hebert in BR and it’s still sharp.

Maybe I should go see him again. But LaHaye is so close.

I’ve read articles about how LASIK companies like to overmarket their services and not talk about the risks and cover up the stories of people whose procedures went wrong.

I had mine done there 5 years ago and everything went very smoothly

Unless something has changed- Lahaye is currently doing PRK instead of Lasik these days due to research studies that he has been a part of. Just fyi
