It is like being in a cockpit sitting in the drivers seat. The display is large in the dash. Drives very well. We had one when our gx460 was in the shop.
And yes they all use premium.

I have a 2004. It’s a fantastic vehicle. I put 93 octane in it.
I don’t like the body style as much on the newer ones, but the interior is more roomy.

I had a 2012 and used 93.
Now have 2015 and use 87. No problem.

My GX calls for premium. I usually put 89 or 87 in it.
ETA. I’m pretty sure my wife never put premium in her IS350 a single time in its long and illustrious life.

Don’t have this model, but a different Lexus.
I only use regular.
It’s 7 years old, but has very low miles (<60k). I’ve never had any issues.
2015 GS300. I love my car.

Not if it's not turbocharged.

87 Octane for the last 10 years or so. This is accurate.

Screw that I have a 21 with 39k on it it’s never sniffed premium gas. I use regular gas and Lexus mechanic said that was fine, but I mix in mid grade as a special thread once in a while.
Now my wife’s mercedes has to have mid grade or better or it knocks

Google it yourself, dumb arse. Here's a hint though, I've never seen a Lexus that recommends regular unleaded.

Not a good hint for the OP...

Put in the expensive shite, don’t be a cheap arse
You’re driving around a sled like that, you should be able to afford what goes into it

Yeah I remember the salesman saying it didn’t require premium fuel like a lot of its competitors. It’s one of the best cars I have ever owned and probably the most reliable car they make. Plus even 2 years old it’s still worth over 80 percent of what i paid for it. Just buy it

But you don't need to. That's why it says "recommended" and not "required". As others in this thread have said they do just fine with regular.

What is the logical reason behind this? BTW there is none. If the engine does not have the compression ratio and/or timing advance to need fuel more resistant to detention it is simply throwing money away.

We have this car (2018), You can use the cheap stuff. However I live in Guam and regular gas it $5.09 93 was 5.75 last week. The only time I pumped it with regular it seemed to have a delay in the gas pedal.
