Looking for some loafer recommendations from the OT style gurus

I’ve been into Riomar lately. Very impressed with their quality and style (plus they’re based in the panhandle of all places).
Looking to stay in the $200-$300 price range. No Gucci etc. Used to buy Cole Haan all the time but they went downhill.

Maybe it’s me, but I would not be caught dead in either of those.
You could definitely be light in them, doe.

Yeah, I support LBGTQIA+ and all, but I’d never wear those.

We once hunted mammoths with flint spears.
What have we become?

I’m at least four hours of billable time into my search for new loafers. Used to wear Cole Haan or Johnston and Murphy and they all have white bottoms or they are super dressy. Seems like no one wants to make the normal, casual loafer anymore.

Those type of shoes are long out of style

I'd prefer Olukai slippers over either of those.

You guys wear shite like that outside of your house?
I've only seen people in Italy and other parts of Europe dress like that.

Ok. When I was in Italy, my wife bought me a pair of loafer shoes and I haven't worn them once.
Maybe when I go back to Europe in a few months I'll break them out.

True, but you know that even back then there were one or two guys in the tribe that held self-important roles and were concerned about worthless shite like the embroidery on their moccasins.
