Louisiana is about to put in a new process for inspection stickers:

Any vehicle registered in Louisiana must pay $10 a year for an inspection sticker.
That’s been the case for years.
Now though, vehicles registered in La will be required to pay $10 every three months for the inspection of inspection stickers.

And when the glue craps out there will be an additional $10 charge for a replacement tag along with a labor fee of $10.

I've had stickers expired for 2-3 years before and never got pulled over.

I got one earlier this month at Bennys and they charged me $18
