Magnus Walker Porsche The White Collection

Magnus Walker takes a walk through the mysterious White Collection of Porsches curated by an unknown person who has lots of money, a love of P-cars, and an affinity for surface finishes that reflect the entire visible spectrum. They aren't run-of-the-mill cars either, basically, every one of the 50-plus cars is someone's (or everyone's) dream car. I have never owned or wanted a white car, even a 911, but this collection is incredible.

Looks like they keep them chained up to prevent white flight

I thought we were mad about the Germans today? And now this?

One of them is not like the others. In 1st & 2nd pics. Maybe not a virgin.

I got a white porsche, white pit, even got a white bitch.
When I say white I mean whiter than a light switch.

That's awesome, but it seems like a bit of a waste. Those cars will never be driven.

Edit: I didn’t read the whole thing. This collection is the most elite of Porsches. They even have all of the adverts that came out archived by year. It’s unreal.

Definitely not

It’s a near complete collection of Porsche 911s. Please explain how it’s not the most elite?

It’s probably a trickle battery charger or battery saver

There are “plenty” of deep porsche collections that have race cars with incredible provenance as well as some of porsche’s many many one offs or ultra limited cars.
It’s an impressive collection for sure, but it’s definitely not the top.
Also there’s this particularly famous guy who might be the biggest pcar fan on earth. I would bet his collection is a little higher on the list than the white collection.

Kinda an interesting question. The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart likely smashes all the private collections but they have a bit of an inside track. Seinfeld has one of the largest private collections. My friend Cam Ingram up the road in Durham, his brother and parents have a stunning collection they restore Porsches and other cars and curate Porsche collections for HNW individuals. I gotta be honest it is kinda a dream job looking from the outside in.
I do have to say the White Collection is VERY special. The cars are all special Porsches not a single space filler in the lot. They all have very high specs and they are all very low miles. The latter is what makes the collection special. You have a lot of very rare cars in super high specs with barely more than delivery miles on them. They are museum cars which differentiates them from most P-car collections because most of us (like yourself) who are fans drive them and drive them a lot because of all the supercars made they are the ones ones with far more histhat are most practical and you can daily drive them and take them to the track and not worry about a Honda Accords worth of maintenance. So while there are bigger collections, ones with far more historical significance, worth more money, etc unless it is super secret (maybe in the UAE) I might go out on a limb and guess this is the largest private collection of super low milage museum quality road Porsches.
It is hard for me to even guess how much some of these will auction for. How do you come up with a price for 1 of only 2 road car versions of a 1993 964 Carrera RSR 3.8 Strassenversion Coupe that "The Collector" bought from the first owner still sporting the Cosmoline film and currently only has 44 miles on it with a spec so high it took Porsche 2 years after the end of the 964 run to finish and delivery it. In one way it is a travesty it is still in that condition in another it is amazing to see such a time capsule. I personally hope the new owner is on their third set of tires within a year. In any event I am guessing north of $2.5 million.
