Make your own bread,, it's the healthiest around!
LINK
You take care to stack your sandwich with protein-rich deli meats and lots of colorful vegetables, but the slices of bread you choose can make or break how healthy your meal is. While it might seem like just a vehicle for the good stuff inside, bread plays a significant role in the overall nutritional value of your sandwich or side of toast with breakfast, and there are many unhealthy breads loaded with ingredients that may do more harm than good.
Instead of gut-healthy fiber, many low-quality breads are riddled with sodium, added sugar, artificial preservatives (like calcium propionate), dough conditioners (like DATEM and monoglycerides), and artificial flavors or colors.

I have a sourdough starter being prepared on my counter as we speak

I'm not brave enough to try sourdough (and not crazy about the flavor) but I make other flavors with my bread machine. And baking bread makes the house smell AMAZING!

American bread is basically cake.

For anyone looking to make homemade bread buy the book “my bread” by Jim Lahey. Super approachable way to make delicious country loaves. Or just look up a recipe for “no-knead” bread.

Yes.
When my family arrived on these shores back in the 70s we were shocked at the taste and texture of most breads here.

Thanks for the reference.
I like King Arthur flour and there are many recipes on their website too.

Shouldn’t the people of ’MAHA’ have some level of reconsideration of consuming deli meats?

Good luck trying to find non GMO flour.

I make a loaf of bread every Sunday and we use it for the week. Flour, water, salt and yeast are the only ingredients (and also the name of the book I use). Lately I've started doing sourdough too

Wildgrain
Box of natural homemade bread, pasta, etc, comes once per month.
It’s great. Haven’t bought bread from a store in years.

Start by choosing 'uncured' meats that don't have nitrates.

Bread in general is not that great for you, but these factory foodstuffs from your link are very obviously not.
I don't like the criticism of saturated fat, but overall, it's a decent list.
