So he didn’t deliver large cardboard checks to people?

Wait. Explain this to me. He was on their commercials and his face was on the mail they sent out right?

I thought he did. My grandmother always tried to win so he would show up with the big check.
Snopes Link I am not sure if believe them or but there is alot of evidence that says he wasnt.

I was too young to associate Ed McMahon with Johnny Carson… so when I was a kid I remembered him as the guy from the Publishers Clearing House commercials.
I always thought there were logical explanations for the Mandela Effect… but wtf.

Son of a bitch. If someone would have said "Ed McMahon was not the spokesperson for PCH I would have argued that he was without even googling because I was that sure he was.

The Simulation operators seem to have scrubbed our Matrix of all proof that Ed delivered giant checks for Publishers Clearinghouse.

Exactly this. I swear I’ve seen the commercials. Next thing you know, someone will try to say Sinbad never played a genie.

Publishers Clearing House (PCH) was a competitor to American Family Publishers that ran similar sweepstakes. The two companies were often mistaken for each other, with Star Search host Ed McMahon and The $25,000 Pyramid host Dick Clark, the spokespeople for AFP, mistaken for representatives of the better-known PCH.[1] PCH remains in business and promotes its products by means of sweepstakes.
