I don't know if it's more frequent or if it's just the quickness of the media, but these things are definitely on the news more in the The last 10 years. And I think the attention they bring only makes it more likely for crazies to get an idea on their head. Really sucks to hit so close to home. Really gets me angry. I'm a gun owner and am against restricting freedom to own in any form, but there's something wrong in this country. I'm not blaming guns, but there's something pretty fricking wrong for this many people to want to kill people for no reason. That's the problem.

The people with CCL's aren't the ones doing these mass shootings most of the time. Businesses that don't allow people to carry should rethink their stance on it, because one person with a CCL can save lives in situations like this.

Why is it only in the U.S. though? Or so much more prevalent here? It's an awfully big coincidence that we have the most relaxed gun laws in the first world, and have by far the biggest percentage of mass shootings in the first world.
But as HH said this isn't the place for that discussion. This hits way too close to home. I've been to this theater literally 50 times. I was planning to go see Ant-Man there sometime in the next few weeks. Bad enough if this was a personal conflict gone bad, but if this was an attempt at an Aurora like situation...just frick man.
