Only been in there once. The one on Bluebonnet. Nasty. Very dirty and dumpy.

I used to love Pluckers.
I won’t even order takeout from the one on Bluebonnet anymore much less dine in. The service there is beyond terrible, even for takeout.

There aren’t many restaurants that are still worth the price or your time. Most can’t find good workers and the price for low quality food
Is not something many still want to pay for.

Pluckers from 2012 to 2019 was a ride like no other. Since right before I moved it has been a disaster. Hoodrat service and hoodrat servers.

Went there regularly from 2011-2019 too (haven't been back since then), and it used to be my favorite place. I've heard stories that confirm what you are saying though. It's a shame.

The two BR locations are franchises, and they’re the only locations that aren’t corporate owned.

They’ve always been far worse in every aspect than any other Pluckers I’ve ever been to

Well Steve was a pretty shitty owner since the beginning. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I’m surprised Mugshots didn’t make it in BR. I’ve always enjoyed their Mississippi locations and their great burgers.

The Yard and The Shed didn't make it here. Let MS keep their stuff where it belongs.

I'm glad you said that because I remember them not sucking but did see around after Covid their prices seemed a little steeper than before. Idk why they decided to do that. I would prefer them over Bdubs if they were reasonably priced.

Some baker’s gold wings and fried Mac and cheese after a night in Tigerland was GOAT.

I’m surprised the Nicholson one would shut down but I haven’t been there in probably 5 years. The bluebonnet location was horrible every time I went though so it’s no surprise

The one on bluebonnet was the spot when it first opened around 2011. It was one of the first spots that had that amount of TVs along with an Xbox and madden at the bar. Combine that with wings and big arse beers and cool bartenders, cfish and friends were huge regulars (lived off bluebonnet in 2013). Watched many a game there, all the lebron heat nba finals come to mind, along with years of March madness. Saints games, lsu, was there when they announced boogie cousins was coming to the Pels. I have fond memories of the place. But something happened around 2018. All the bartenders we knew had moved on, we got sick of the over sized slimy wings, it started getting more and more ratchet especially for nba finals and nfl Sundays, the Xbox controllers never worked, and walkons-towne center opened and was just a better atmosphere. It went all the way to shite. Last time we went was earlier this year to watch opening night of nfl and they called for last call before the fricking game was even over. What sports bar closes before the game is over?

RIP pluckers

Yeah the one on Bluebonnet was my favorite place to go eat when it first opened. I friggen loved it there. The service has been horrible for years. Workers seem outright hostile to white people.

Worked there at Nicholson location for two years while at LSU.
Loved that place, but was fired on Easter by owner (who was ironically Jewish) due to me skipping work to attend a block party thrown by one of the cooks in North, NORTH BR. Took my gf and her friend after boozing it up at Copeland’s. Out of hundreds of people, we were the only white ppl there. Had a blast. Good times.

As if Pluckers wasn’t bad enough, there’s walkons town center.

You think Pluckers is ratchet? Try walkons town center.
