It’s also for a local news channel. Just now seeing this. Anyone else have this issue? What is the issue?

Had Uverse. Got rid of it for YouTubeTV, it's probably a contract issue. They couldn't agree on a price
. Was happening quite frequently the last few years I had it. NFL Network was removed from Uverse for that reason.
No issues with YouTube TV. All you need is wifi and a firestick. Has every channel I need. Plus NFL Network.

Weird. We have have it on Uverse. Could it be a regional thing?

It happened today. Had it yesterday and always before that. We have ABC, CBS, FOX. I wonder if it is regional? Since you have it.

You need an OTA antenna and an IPTV service in your life bro.

I don't know. For some reason I want to say a while ago something similar happened where we didn't have a local channel and others did.
Does it have a message on the screen like they do when a station gets pulled, or is it just black?

It has been off uverse in BR for about 7 months.

I haven’t had NBC on DirectTV in BR since like early fall

Your TV provider isn't clandestine enough. Sorry brother.

Huh, maybe it is a DirecTV deal. We have actual Uverse. Not tied to DirecTV at all. I refused to swap to Direct after they bought it and tried to force the switch onto customers.
I'll say it for you, though....frick AT&T.

We have Uverse though. It’s quite weird. Since Uverse and DirecTV are owned by AT&T, and reading other posts here, I guess NBC is gone for good.

Yes, been out for prob close to a year. Not convenient missing out on sporting events. Wife has been asking me to switch to YouTube tv.

At least. I couldn't watch some football last year because of this. They just gave up trying to make a deal. When I signed up for it, it was part of the deal. Now it's "frick you Charlie , we can't play nice with NBC so you get to suffer for it."
I do have a leaf type antennae for my outdoor tv so I can at least watch NBC outside.

Directv split from AT&T awhile back, but they also took Uverse from AT&T.
My big issue with Directv and Directv stream is that they don’t carry all the local channels. They only get you the big 5 or 6 networks and no other local or extra local channels like WBRZ weather and news repeats channel.
You would think with the ability like Directv Stream that Directv would offer all the local extra channels as part of its subscription it is not like they are tying up transponder space like in the past. It is a web stream you only need bandwidth when someone is watching.

That’s great info. Had no clue that Uverse was taken over from AT&T. I was told at one time that DirecTV steaming would be the way to go. But from what you said, it sounds like that not the case. Perhaps YouTubeTV is the best option?
This is just lame all around. Our local news on NBC is one of our go to channels, especially for weather. And me in the fall for SNF. What a bummer. I’m almost 40 and perhaps late to the game, but I’ve avoided going the streaming route. But I’m told that will be the future.
