I’m sick of buying a new dishwasher every 2-3 years now. I’ve tried just about all the high-dollar “reputable” brands with all the bells and whistles.
Maybe you’re the problem..

Last one I bought from a local company that has their own repair team..higher end kitchen aid that had good reviews everywhere online...it was scratch & dent, so it was cheaper, added the 5yr parts & labor warranty, brought it back up to basically regular price..had to use the warranty 3 yrs in, but it was all covered

House hold appliances are all control board junk. Washer/dryer failed at 4 years, Bosch microwave failed at 4 1/2, stove/cooktop just failed at 5 years.
The first rule of appliance purchase is that paying top dollar does not improve performance and they are just as unrepairable as a cheap one.
Buy based on specific features and 4 year disposal

What does that mean?

Look up the definition of the word “obtuse”. That will help you figure it out.
I’m pretty sure he’s asking what went out. I’m wondering the same thing. What broke on your 3-4 year old $1,000 Bosch dishwasher?

I have had good luck with Maytag

My mid level Bosch is 7 years old and no problems. I've had good experiences with all of my appliances.

I have a Thermador. I wouldn’t buy another after not realizing it doesn’t have a heating element to dry the dishes. Counts on the heat from the hot water to dry the dishes. Doesn’t work. Plastics are always wet.

I've had a mid-range Bosch for years and love it. Can't hear it run, dishes come out clean and dry. But they aren't for all locations and water quality issues. Talk to plumbers and repairmen to find out what brand works best in your area. Some brands do better with hard or soft water.

After my fancy GE gave me problems for a year until it finally shite the bed, I bought a Hotpoint with 2 buttons on it for relatively cheap, and have not had any issues since.

Get an amex platinum. Buy your appliances from a local dealer with their own service guys. The card extends the warranty.
No dishwasher problems, but I've had my craft ice maker replaced twice. Once because of the wife. Once because it actually failed and wouldn't make clear ice balls anymore

I bought a Cove dishwasher 2 years ago. I’ll never buy a regular dishwasher again. It is the bomb.
We plan to replace the Bosch we have with a Cove when it kicks the bucket but it is 12 years old and runs like new. I don't mind paying for quality, our cooktop, ovens, fridge, and freezer are all over 20 years old and the only repair needed was a result of our negligence.

This is the hidden inflation we've been paying for years. It used to be that we could buy an appliance and expect it to last 20-30 years. Now it's down to 5-10 years. Chinese shite may be 50% cheaper, but it only lasts 25% as long. The way we've dealt with it is by changing our culture. Now it's fashionable to "upgrade" every 5 years or so. Nobody wants to get caught with 10 year old appliances in their kitchen anymore. Good thing.

Just go to paper plates and plastic utensils. It's cheaper and easier.

I’m shocked Bosch did you wrong.
Go kitchen aid?

Yeah, how much does it cost though
If you have to ask, you probably can not afford it.

Quite a few years back at work they decided to remodel the kitchen. All Samsung appliances.
Between year one and two the refrigerator began to fall apart. Handle on the freezer broke off, ice maker stopped working and finally the fridge itself died. Replaced with a different brand.
About 4 years in the Samsung electric cooktop decides to die. First the main burner and then a few months later the whole thing. Replaced with a Whirlpool.
We are about 7 years into the LG fridge and about 4 years into the Whirlpool cooktop and all is well.
