Parking For Saints Games

FYI I posted this on SaintsTalk but got crickets over there. So I figured I'd ask here too.
Me and the kiddos bought some last minute tix to the Carolina game but it's been a little while since I've been to the Dome. I remember we used to park in Garage 5 but I can't remember if that's now just for season ticket holders...
Where do you baws normally park? Any easy spots to get in and out? Any places to avoid?

I believe that the Dome lots are ST holders only. My son parks near St. Joseph Church.

I park a few blocks from Peche on the dome side in one of the pay lots. It’s like a 15 min walk but you can’t beat getting right onto the interstate after the game with zero traffic. (St. Joseph & carondelet)
Parking garages closer to the dome can be a nightmare to get out of but if that’s the route you go, use the app “parkwhiz” to reserve a spot ahead of time

I haven’t been to a game in years and got last minute tickets to the Cowboys game. Was clueless about parking as well.
Drove down and got right into a lot in one of the office buildings just on the other side of Champions Square. It wasn’t an outrageous price either. Couldn’t believe my luck.
After the game I found out why no one was parked there. Let me put it this way, the traffic getting out of downtown from close to the Dome made an LSU game look like the epitome of efficiency. We legit sat in traffic for three hours.
My suggestion would be to park away from the Dome and walk five or six blocks to get there.

Parking lots near canal and LaSalle are easy in and out. It's an 8-10 minute walk to the Dome.

You can find pay lots easily on Rampart or Loyola. Cheaper ones will be on the other side of Poydras towards Canal.
If you get there early enough, there is free street parking almost always available around the LSU medical center complex between Poydras and Tulane. Easy in and out there, but not close to any restaurants/bars.

I always park under the interstate. 10 min walk to/from the dome 2 mins and I'm on the interstate.

Agreed. Park by overpass, easy in and out. Plus you can smell the grills from the people tailgating on the way in, good shite.

There’s a garage a couple blocks down and across Poydras from the dome. I’ve never had issues parking there and it’s pretty close.
It’s like a 2 or 3 story cement structure.
ETA: This building. One block down from the dome.

Are the Dome garages still cash only? It’s freaking 2019, murder capital of the world.

Back when I used to go to the games I would park off of Earhart and take the stairs over interstate to the dome. It wasn't a far walk, and it avoided the crowd that you get stuck in parking in the garages.

That looks like one of the garages right next to city hall. Would be very close to the dome, but I imagine traffic getting in there could be difficult.

Park on St. Charles and take the street car, and just walk the rest of the way.

Get the spot hero app and choose from the map. Just remember there are streets closed around the hard rock collapse.
