More from Claudia Cardinale:

One of the all-time beauties of that era in movie making. Three of the most beautiful Italian women of that era in Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale and Gina Lollobrigida.

Oberst Erich Hartmann relaxing with his dog next to his BF-109. Hartmann is the highest scoring fighter ace in history, scoring 352 victories during WWII, mostly against the Soviets. Hartmann would survive the war and Soviet captivity until 1955 when he was returned to West Germany. He would later join the reformed Luftwaffe, serving until being forced to retire in 1970, mostly due to his opposition to equipping the Luftwaffe with the American F-104 Starfighter, in the 1960s. Hartmann considered the F-104 unstable and unsafe.

The Luftwaffe flew the F-104 from 1961 to 1989. Of the 916 F-104s flown by the Luftwaffe, 292 would be lost due to crashes, costing the lives of 116 German pilots.

Jack Gilbert Graham - he blew up United Airlines Flight 629 in November 1955, in order to kill his mother for the insurance. 43 more people died on the flight. He was executed in the gas chamber in 1957.

The word "Sputnik" is in the Western/Roman alphabet, so this poster may have been meant for foreign propaganda purposes

How many of the OT posters remember what the following means:

"LSMFT" as it appeared in tobacco advertising back in the 60's without looking it up.
