Im not sure why I should care about this. Our local archdiocese has $16M+ in undeveloped property in the middle of a very typical American suburb.

Although if it’s an SBC pastor in a suburban mcmansion suddenly this board thinks only clergy in rags should be taken seriously

Not as gilded as most. He didn’t use the Papal Apartments, opting for a communal living guest house elsewhere in that Vatican with other clergy.
