Porsche killing nearly all manuals but two 911s....
Sure the PDK is faster, but that's like preferring a Quartz timepiece tlover mechanical because it's more accurate.

With the 911 Carrera S going automatic-only, the only 911 models available with a manual transmission are the $135,995 911 Carrera T and the $224,495 911 GT3. T

And the cool thing about the 911T is that it's the 6 speed. not that 7 speed they've been using in the Carrera. It's MSRP is still too high IMO but if you want a manual 911 it's very attractive.

I can!
but I'm creeping up on 40
Thanks to my grandma for teaching me how to drive one on the island of roatan many many years ago.

That’s the problem. It might be the perfect car or dream vehicle for a certain segment of the population, but that segment has shrunk considerably over the years.
The pool of potential buyers is too small these days to make them worthwhile to manufacture.

it is really easy but damn when i went to drive an automatic i had so much more freedom...the worst part of a manual is going up a bridge in heavy traffic

So you can't even get a manual on the 718?

It really has...
And, tbh, if you're younger and buying a 911, it likely will be your DD, so even less incentive to own a manual.

I have a six speed manual in storage in the US. Will probably be the last manual car I own. While I enjoy driving it, the dual clutch transmissions available these days are far superior.

On the contrary, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
it’s incredibly cheap, you could beat the living hell out of it, and it's more accurate than any Rolex, Patek , etc

You should send me the address so I can, uh..., check the battery.
