Most places barely have enough employees to do what they do, and people ask why they can’t do more? Throw some hot sauce on them and move on.

Yeah they're much smaller than they used to be. A lot pricier too. Oh well, I still hit 'em up once in a while.

The more complications added the more quality can vary. It’s about keeping a high level of consistency and quality without sacrificing one for the other.

I actually emailed the corporate address about 10 years ago about this. Specifically, I suggested they partner with slap ya momma and called the spiced version “slapped”.

Most places, because they serve frozen food or food that was cooked earlier in the day and kept warm until it is sold.

Thus, they can offer more items without fear of food waste (which is even less of a concern when you are serving crappy frozen foods as they are significantly cheaper) and offer more variety.

How do you think McDonalds fans would react if they cut down the entire menu to only big macs and a couple of sides. Wouldn't go well. They also print money, no need to change.

My first job was at canes. We used to make all sorts of things for ourselves. Spicy chicken was one of them.

When you reach a certain level of success, you dont make drastic changes to the formula. Only minor ones.

Reducing a 40-item menu down to below 10 items would be a drastic change.

Yet Chick-fil-A offers spicy chicken and a variety menu and is still faster than canes.

Oh yeah. Real complicated. One fryer for spicy and one for regular. Oh wait and a different batter too. Oh and they have to keep track of putting spicy or regular in which order.

Yeah that’s gonna really slow shite up and impact quality. Meanwhile all those that want spicy chicken go elsewhere.

Not asking them to make hamburgers. Just a spicy chicken option for fricks sake. Why doesn’t he have just one soda or do away with lemonade and tea? 2 kinds of tea too! Unsweet and Sweet! He needs to get rid of so many drink options to make his operation more streamlined and simple. That’s the logic you are using and it doesn’t fit in this case.

I like Cane’s but it really doesn’t make sense not to have a spicy option.

I call you out Todd! Don’t fear change! Bring us the spice!
