Rapper Yo Gotti's brother Anthony 'Big Jook' Mims shot dead in Memphis

Who here hasn't been the famous Perignons Restaurant and Event Center in Memphis? This could have been everyone of us!
The 42-year-old rapper’s sibling is said to have been gunned down outside the Perignons Restaurant and Event Center restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday (13.01.24) along with another unidentified victim.
TMZ has reported Yo Gotti’s brother had attended a funeral for a relative earlier in the day of the shooting.
RIP Big Jook who should have taken a Smaller Jook yesterday.

Police believe that the shooting was a targeted attack. While they do have surveillance footage of the shooting, they have not been able to identify the suspect.
Mims' death comes two days after he posted a cryptic message on his Instagram, calling out "snakes" and warning people to "watch your back."
"They don’t want to face you they wanna snake you… Stay alert 2 stay alive watch your back at all times… Put snakes on the plate and eat great," the caption of the Instagram post read.
Per TMZ, Mims had attended a funeral for a relative earlier that day.

Law enforcement was also asked if Mims’ death had any connection to the 2021 death of late Memphis rapper Young Dolph, Gotti’s former music rival. Dolph was gunned down outside a local cookie store just 14 minutes down the road from where Mims was shot and killed.
Online users also allege that Mims is an associate of Hernandez Govan, the man accused of being the mastermind behind Dolph’s death and organizing the escape plan for the shooter.
Wright said, “This is preliminary, so we haven’t developed a connection to that at this time. We do feel like the individual that was shot was possibly targeted by the suspect.”
