Rayovac vs Energizer vs Duracell Battery Discussion

So i bought batteries at lunch at lowes. Energizer and Duracell are same prices.
Rayovac i was getting a pack of 36 batteries for a dollar and change cheaper than 24 pack of duracell.
I give you that battery quality may not be quite up to same standard but damn, its cheaper plus i'm getting 12 more batteries.
Is there really a rational argument to make to go for the duracell brand?

Lets get one of the LLotOT in here. They have likely all tested batteries extensively and can provide insight into which ones last the longest and provide the best bang for your buck.

Rayovac is your best bang for your buck. I always get them in bulk on Amazon or Ebay.

a battery is a damn battery as long as its working. if you have to replace sooner, fine, i got 12 to spare.

I buy the rayovacs at Home Depot
They have these huge packs on sale at Christmas time and I stock up for the year

These are the best bang for buck. They are private label(means they are a name brand battery with Sam's Club packaging).

I haven't bought any in a while. But I recall they were exactly $3 cheaper than the same pack of Energizer/Duracell in the store.
I'll tell you something though. It's a Sam's label but it's no secret that they use one of the big names for all their products and just get it in bulk and have them put Members Mark/Great Value on their products. The production is slightly changed but it's more than likely an Energizer or Duracell battery.

I buy Rayovac but am pro Duracell in the Duracell vs Energizer and pro Tylenol in Tylenol vs Advil...

Rayovac or bust. In my experiences, Duracell will outlast Energizer but its not like either one will go on for days after the Rayovac dies.
