re-caulking shower stall silicone or pva caulk ??

I'm in the process of removing the old caulk from my shower stall so I can re-caulk it. Anybody have any experience with the PVA caulks such as Loctite 2 in 1 tub & tile and /or Dap Kwik Seal Plus. I'm open to all input.

I used silicone and had decent results, but even the ones with the mildew and mold guarantees still get mold and mildew embedded in them within a year or two especially in a shower stall.
I have no experience with the Locktite you are asking about, but they do make some damn good shite when it comes to sealants and adhesives.

i was just coming to post a similar thread.
grout is coming loose in the corner/edges of my shower and was looking for suggestions as to the best caulk/sealer to run up and down the inside edges.

I'm sure that's a great product but not for use in shower stall.

Please explain why? I'm genuinely interested.

You want 100% silicone. You can get sanded and/or color matched if you want to spend a little more money to have the silicone match the grout.

Go to the manufactures web site. It's not made for baths or showers. It's a great roofing sealant.

Use silicone to caulk the glass/frame/doors. If you have to re-caulk the tile corners you can get sanded color match caulk so it looks like the grout.
