Remember the ’90s movie Shazaam where Sinbad played a genie?

Apparently lots of people do. But there is no such movie.
There was a movie called Kazaam with Shaq as a genie. But many folks swear they saw Shazaam with Sinbad, and that the Shaq movie was a lame ripoff that came later.
Sinbad himself has tweeted several times that there is no such movie, but believers will not be swayed. One dude swears he had two copies of Shazaam in his video store, plus one copy of weak-arse Kazaam, and watched it many times. Some recall specific scenes, or exactly how the cover looked, or that their friend repeated catch phrases from the movie, but there was no such movie.

I've only heard anyone call it Kazaam. A movie THAT notoriously bad kinda sticks in your mind. I wonder if people get it confused with the song identification app?

Its just a bunch of people who were kids in the 90s confusing big black dudes who played mythical characters, cuz they were kids.
Like for example, I thought the movie 'Legend" was the best movie ever as a kid. Watched it as an adult and was like wtf is this.
tl;dr all this bullshite is cuz kids are stupid and get confused easily and cant differentiate an outlier from the norm and lump things together

I 100% remember a Sinbad movie where he played a genie. I would not get him and Shaq confused. This is really weird.

This movie happened. You know how you identify celebrities with certain things. Anytime I hear Sinbad I think of his shitty genie movie.
