RIP In Peace To Griffi The Dancing Cockatoo - Another Real One Gone Too Soon.

Sorry to bring such a somber thread to the OT.

Yesterday morning in my quest to fall back asleep after waking up way too early, I came across this wonderful bird after my YouTube algorithm (still the champ, btw) recommended it to me. I then posted about it in the lunch thread. After questioning the reasoning behind the looks of this poor bird, it was pointed out to me by the one of the most awesomest posters on TD, LSUGrrrl, that the bird's previous owners were some real POS and essentially abused it and it led to the bird pulling out all of its feathers.

While doing some more research recently (about 2 mins ago), I found out that this lovely soul has left us to be with her heavenly Father a few days ago. Apparently, she had a stroke a few days ago and she couldn't recover from it. I only knew about this precious bird for about 24 hours, so this news came as a shock to me and also was a devastating blow. I got so much joy from watching this little dancing Cockatoo over the last day, that I am legit sad to see that this bird has left us.
