I assume this is due to the worker strike, overload, or some of both?

I got three packages from them today. Your Amazon driver accidentally got too high this morning.

We get packages almost daily (3 today) and I haven't notice any issues recently. We did have a pair of packages about 3 weeks ago that showed delivered but showed up the next day. I think it was because it was dark when they got there and our lights were out on our house numbers along with being one of three houses on a cul-de-sac that has wonky numbering. While they should not have been marked delivered they were there the next day. We did get a new Amazon contract carrier back in the summer and for a couple of weeks my neighbor and I were exchanging packages every couple of days, then they figured it out. Also over the last 6 months the amount of overnight deliveries we get has gone up over 50%, often I order something at 10pm and they are delivered by the time we get up.

Yeah it’s weird, I’ve gotten packages at 4 am before but since Wednesday, deliveries have been pushed back 2 times (not including the holiday).

Maybe all it takes is one driver to be out and my route falls apart.

No big deal, I can certainly survive without the stuff but I did need a few things more urgently and I’ll have to find another source for them if they don’t appear for the third time tomorrow.

My Keurig coffee maker took a dump 2 weeks ago. Ordered another from Wallyworld but it didn't arrive. UPS said it was delivered. Then said it must have been delivered to the wrong address. Hard bullshite since I live on a tiny island where we all know everyone. Battled with the system and reordered from Amazon. Got it in 2 days. 10 days later I got the refund.

May have been smart post, where final mile gets passed to USPS, and we all know how that will turn out. The delivery date only reflects when it gets handed off to last mile.

The amount of Amazon vans seem to have crashed in the last year. Now it’s all dudes that don’t speak English in Altimas.

Just got to South Louisiana from Alabama. By far the most Amazon trucks I’ve ever seen driving that stretch of 10. Lots of 18 wheelers parked but the Amazon trucks were rolling.

There is an Amazon warehouse less than two miles from me, and yet I rarely see them anymore. I saw the first in my hood today in more than two weeks. Always randos delivering.

It’s that time of the year! Online shopping is cheaper and saves fuel/time/headaches.

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered Wednesday but never showed. Tracking info Wednesday night said “delayed until Dec 1”, but it ended up being delivered last night around 7pm.

Yep. Everything purchased over the last couple of weeks has been late. I bought a bunch of Christmas presents that got delayed and then showed up UPS.
