Things are just ever regressing near where I live now. Went to Walmart in Port Allen, walked away from my buggy for less than 2 minutes to get some eggs and meat. Turned around and my buggy was snatched and all my groceries emptied onto the Lunchables in the middle of cooler area. I haven't dealt with that kind of crap since being at Sherwood Middle in the mid 90s or Tiger Plaza 2010.

I live in Addis now and I didnt like it at first, in 2009, but I've gotten used to it now and want to find somewhere that's less populated but not where I have to drive 10 miles to get to a grocery store.

Where's the areas getting developed now?

Nicer compared to what?

There are nicer neighborhoods in Baton Rouge (college town, bocage, ccl, etc.) but it’s still Baton Rouge. Similar to some of the nicer neighborhoods in New Orleans.

I live in Addis. Still, my neighborhood has houses being broken into amd vehicles stolen out of their own parking spots. Cars parked all over grass and public pond spots and now they are building a gas station in front of it

Why would you drive all the way to that Wal Mart when there is a Benedetto's right by you?

Why wouldn’t you just take your buggy to the spot to get whatever you need?

Even if you have to walk away it should still be within eye sight so you would see it being tampered with and would be able to say hey that’s mine I’m using that.

You want less populated than Addis?

I mean, if you are making decisions based on one event that could happen at any wal mart you might want to rethink things.

Wal Mart is trash.

There are maybe 2 good ones in the Baton Rouge metro and that isn’t one of them.

Exact. That's why I said it can happen at any walmart.

Any semi developed area with primarily white people is a great place to live.

Doesn't matter the state or county.
