I remember in Metairie a trampoline park and another that had go karts. Mid 80's I guess

Yep. Trampoline park was on vets by Bonnabel. Go karts were on the I10 service road over where the times picayune distributor is kinda close to the clearview mall.

I remember that place. I heard that this one time this kid got lost in the cheese maze and died.

Edit:
Just was thinking, how cool of a thought it is that a bunch of us were probably there at the same time back then and all played together. Now here we are.

That looks like crap compared to the places they have now

??????

no place now has it like Fun Works had it when I was coming up

then after i got too old for that, it was time for Celebration Station and go karts and batting cages

nowadays you don't see none of that anymore. I still want to hit in batting cages every now and then and got to drive to BR lol

Fun works- gone
DZ- gone
Service road batting cages and go karts- gone
Skate world (and later putt putt and batting cages)- gone
the Slidell place with the go karts, putt putt, and batting cages- gone
Celebration Station Metairie- gone
Trampoline place- gone
Putters palace- gone
Putt putt on Veterans- gone

all that's left in the NOLA area is Laser Tag in Kenner and City Putt
