Speaking of Patio Shade Products....

...I agree that the retractable awning is an eyesore, but I am in the market for a shade product - something elegant, yet practical. Something that retracts/rolls and is hardly noticeable when not in use. I've got two adjacent/contiguous areas separated by a column support. Each around 8 ft tall x 10-12 ft wide or so.
Does the OT have any thoughts, perspectives or actual experience to share?
