5) 0.914%
In Plovdiv, Bulgaria a man was admitted to the hospital after getting smashed by a car. The doctors smelled the massive amounts of alcohol on his breath and breathalyzed him on the spot. Of course, they thought their equipment was malfunctioning and proceeded to test him five more times all with the same result: WASTED!
4) 0.976%
In Bourg-en-Bresse, French police gave some dude a breath test after he lost control of his car. Turns out the guy was way way drunk. He ended up losing his license and paying a fine of € 150. Lose control of car, lose license, Frenchie
3) 1.024%
A homeless Polish man was found sleeping and half naked on the streets in the dead of winter. Seriously, the temperature was -10°C. Cops breathalyzed sleeping beauty and got a 1.024%. Wonder how he paid for all that?
2) 1.400%
A woman was found dead in Paso Robles, California. The autopsy showed that her B.A.C. was 1.400%. She died simply of organ failure. At least she went out in style.
1) 1.480%
Not to be outdone by the last girl, a man in Wroclaw, Poland got in a car accident. His B.A.C. at the time was 1.480%. Freaking 1.480% of that man’s blood was alcohol. A coworker told the investigators that the man funneled pure grain alcohol he obtained from his place of work, a chemical plant. He survived that B.A.C. record, but died later from wounds sustained from the accident.

The Russians must be embarrassed - 3 Slavs on the list, but not a single Russian - letting their Western "friends" the Poles take #1 and #3.

There is absolutely no way a human being can survive past .50

The US wouldn't even place for bronze in the drunken Olympics

This is completely untrue. It depends on the body's dependence. These examples are people that are "normal" at .20 or higher because they drink all day, and have been doing so for years. Do some research.
It's a lot different than some frat kid getting drunk.
These people would have a panic attack if they weren't at .20

That's pretty incredible considering 0.4 is considered comatose. Those are some professional drinkers!

These descriptions you are throwing out are for people that don't drink heavily all day. When you drink the equal of 2-4 fifths of alchohol every day, the measurements dont apply. The body is able to adjust to amazing amounts of drinking.

Went to Orange Beach for a party with some friends several years back and we couldn't find one of our friends.
Turns out, he was passed out on the beach with temp around 100 and had been laying there for 3 hours. His BAC at the hospital was .30
Heat stroke and alcohol poisoning.

At what point value does one typically piss the bed?
Asking for a friend.

That first place guy survived a 1.4 BAC?
I'm sure the hangover after that would have me wishing I didn't survive.

At what point is pissing at your computer station thinking it's your toilet?

Didn't Rueben Droughns blow a .8 after getting a DUI. Maybe that's just urban legend.

Poland goes hard as hell
How do you even stay awake long enough to get over 1% BAC? Just butt chugging grain alcohol?

For a chronic alcoholic this is most probably true. I know this from an old high school friend of mine. Dude blew a .28 BAC for his 2nd DWI and claimed to feel totally normal. Passed every field sobriety test except for the HGN eye test. Claims to have drank on average 2+ fifths of Vodka per day which eventually caused him to have beginning stages of cirrhosis at only 30 years old. Good thing is that he's been sober for about 5 years now.

Lol... I really don't know but it's a little short of getting up and pissing on the wall.
A friend of mine did this too.
