Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, and bottled water.
Because people read and believe everything they see on Facebook. All it takes is a brainless majority believing and acting one way to make others have to as well.

what did she say that was idiotic?
Telling people to panic buy is a bitch move at best.
The reason some stores are running short are because you have idiots, like her, that are freaking people the frick out.

I was at Costco this morning and they had plenty of toilet paper.

How do you know she wasn't just telling people that if you need TP you better hurry because the panic buy has already started? Unless you left something out, she did not say anything about the supply chain being falsely disrupted, so I don't see any idiocy in her comments.

That's literally how you keep the "panic buying" going. By keeping the panic going.
You don't understand how that's an issue?

You just described how panic buying becomes panic buying

It’s not the port strike

With places already out, i'd say we're already there.

Isn't toilet paper made in the USA, or am I missing something?
BTW, my Costco is out of toilet paper and paper towels.
Correct. All or at least some of the Kirkland brand is made in Louisiana.

I didn't say i condone it, but no i don't really have an issue with people saying "hey this is what's already happening, plan accordingly".

Plenty TP at the office but it will take chrome off a bumper.

Quilted Northern – The brand‘s primary manufacturing facilities are located in Georgia, concentrated around Georgia-Pacific‘s Palatka operation.
Scott – Scott toilet paper originates from Kimberly-Clark mills in Pennsylvania, notably a massive integrated pulp and paper facility in Chester.
Charmin – Surprisingly, all Charmin sold in America comes from a single Procter & Gamble plant in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania.
Cottonelle – Cottonelle rolls are made at Kimberly-Clark‘s facilities in Neenah, Wisconsin and Loudon, Tennessee, along with some imported materials.

Me watching everyone fight over toilet paper at Walmart while I got my bidet
Posted on 10/2/24 at 1:24 pm to ThatTahoeOverThere
What bidet does everyone have? Been thinking of getting one for awhile
Posted on 10/2/24 at 1:30 pm to Fun Bunch
We have a TOTO that has the heated seat component (awesome in the winter).
Also recommend, if you have a special lady friend living with you to get one that has a front spray option as well.

Those bidets are causing prolapsed assholes for a good number of people who use them. Tread lightly.

Yep. I went to Sam’s yesterday for my bi-weekly trip and it was like Katrina was coming. Complete chaos. I left and went to the grocery store, which was completely normal.
