The mute button for the gas pump television is the second button down on the right of the screen. Some are just loud.

I've noticed recently someone will write "MUTE" next to that button in marker. That person is a hero.

3 months ago this worked on every pump but recently it has been working on less than half. They caught on which is BS.

It doesn’t work to pierce the speaker cone with a bladed instrument through the slats, either. Just makes the sound fuzzy and possibly more annoying.
