The NOPD said two parties were involved in a “physical altercation” at a business in the 4100 block of South Carrollton Avenue around 2:42 a.m. Among the businesses on that block is the Shamrock Bar & Grill, where two women were reported shot in the parking lot on July 13. The NOPD did not name the business involved in Sunday’s incident.

According to police, one of the arguing parties was a group of five women who began leaving the area in a vehicle “when an unknown gunman opened fire on them. The vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant and flipped at the intersection of Baudin and South Solomon.”
