Why? This seems like some Darwin awards type thing. A quick google search pulled up quiet a bit of threads on this

So much context here.
Speaking of Darwin awards, why were you googling boiling fabuloso?

Because I wanted to see if this was something that was common

Bottom line, experts don't recommend using a chemical or cleaner for anything other than its intended use. So we can verify that boiling Fabuloso and similar cleaning products on the stove can be hazardous to your health.

Back before and during WWII, new rifles were packed in a heavy grease called cosmoline which was very labor intensive to remove. Soaking the rifles in boiling gasoline made the process much easier.

You boil it down to a concentrate and turn it into Stupendoloso.

There's a very high likelihood that the ones doing this are the ones that survived eating tide pods.

Whose parents taught them to boil fabuloso in a pot? To make the room smell better.

I still don't understand the purpose. Why would anyone boil Fabuloso or bleach? What does that have to do with cleaning?
Posted on 7/18/22 at 11:06 am to Indefatigable
It seems to make the house “smell” clean. Like an air freshener or something
Posted on 7/18/22 at 11:09 am to jmarto1
I had absolutely no idea that this was done by anyone…and I’m glad.

Laziness. Don't clean the house. Just make it smell clean.

I mean damn. They haven't heard of candles, or actual air fresheners??
Nah, frick candles, lets boil some chemicals on the stove instead
