Love it .. in the video they ask what would be an appropriate price for it.. i think if it came in under $85k it would sell like crazy .. more likely it will be well over $100k though imo

I think it’s incredibly ballsy that they gave it a manual in this day and age..

And i love the paint scheme, it reminds me a little bit of TC’s chopper in the original Magnum

There is zero chance that is available in the US for less than 6 figures.

Crazy they used an extra cab platform and not a true 4 door

Or the Toyota racing teams from the 70s and 80s

Yep, always chasing weight.

Youll see a lot of guys pull a csmper with an extended cab instead of a crew cab to save weight.

Looks like the old offroad racing truck paint schemes from the 70's and 80's

What are you going to do when you aren't camping ?

Which is 99% of the time.

Drop little Johnnie off at ball practice in that

That would likely be a spare vehicle for most people. No different from people who buy an RV or a boat that sits in your driveway 99% of the time.

They aren’t spending my money so I don’t care.

I mean, what do most people do when they aren’t using their RVs ? They usually just park them in the driveway…. This thing would probably encourage me to go on more excursions though .

The snorkel is just stupid. No sane person is going to submerge that vehicle in four feet of water. Nothing like having gwater soak everything insifmde that vehicle such as seats, electronics and carpet

That's not what a snorkel is for

My grandfather had one just like that old thing back in the day. He lived in Florida, so hills weren't a concern. It could barely get out of its own way...he still loved it.

Keeping water out is indeed one of the purposes of a snorkel. Also gets clear air in while driving on dirt roads.

Yeah but if you are using this vehicle for its true purpose you need the space and seating.

And why wouldn't they use the Tundra base instead of the Tacoma?

All that said, I still want one.
