Went in for the first time today. I don’t get it. It’s the size of a CVS and it’s crowded with wine-aunts. The selection isn’t so great from what I could see. Is the popularity simply driven by social media?

The essentials are pretty cheap and the house wives in yoga pants are elite if you're in a good area.

Can't beat that

Trader Joe’s is for people who can’t afford Whole Foods, but still want to feel superior because of where they get their groceries.

Trader Joe’s in OKC is located in the wealthiest part of the city, although one is planned for NWOKC where there is plenty of growth.

They have great products for cheap and use great ingredients and nothing artificial. The stores need to be bigger for sure. But yes, the married/unmarried women in yoga pants do not disappoint.

Some of their stuff is awesome. But most of the stuff I have zero need or want for.

Trader Joe’s is all about how you utilize.

I got some nice Easter Lillies in a vase for $3.99 a piece last week. The vase alone would be probably $8-10 elsewhere.

They have cheap decent meals and stuff you can throw together or heat up in a pinch. Don’t go there a lot but I like it

The one in Baton Rouge is crowded with a weird mix of soccer moms in yoga pants and blue haired wannabe hippies. None are aware of their surroundings.

The parking lot is very dangerous as you can imagine. Surprised more people aren’t run over. And there is also a Sephora and Lululemon in the same place. It’s like a magnet for white chicks.

Trader Joe’s is one of 4 or 5 places I usually go to for groceries. I especially like their pre-made refrigerated, not frozen, pizza dough (2 flavors) and Sublime ice cream cookie sandwiches. One of my kids likes their frozen stir fried rice. I throw in some of my own andouille and shrimp and it’s ready in about 5 minutes. Every Christmas, I buy several of their $1 Advent calendars so kids don’t fight over whose day it is. The workers are almost always cheerful and engaged.

It’s like Whole Foods in that I have a few go-to items. Most of my groceries are from HEB, Sprouts, and WalMart.

Trader Joes's has some good stuff, although I cant do all of my grocery shopping there.

They have a great cheese selection for a good price. They have good dairy averall for a decent price.

Their chicken is cheap, and last a lot longer in my fridge than the bigger stores brands.

They have good frozen foods.

Thats pretty much all I buy there.

Their spicy mango lemonade is the best mixer for tequila. It' seasonal, so buy and freeze.
