Two Conchs Charter Captain Loses it on Customer

Dude was having a rough day I guess. Company is catching flak all over Facebook. Apparently the captain left the engine running and the dad slipped and hit controls, almost throwing the captain into engine.
Pretty wild interaction, YouTube link

Standard practice offshore fishing. Engines stay on from the time you leave the dock until the time you get back.
Dude definitely went a little far on his rant, but at the same time I have a feeling there was stuff before the video that contributed to it. If someone almost threw me into the props to be blended up I’d have a few words for them too. Accident or not.

Anyone who owns a tower boat has felt a cock go soft in their mouth before.

Wow it’s like going back in time on a fishing trip with my dad

Bitch boy singing a tune on that boat.
I’ll be damned if I’d let him talk to me that way though.

Never turn off the engine while offshore. shite happens. I’d give the guy a pass if he lost his cool for a minute and then calmed down. But for this a-hole to whine and whine in front of the child, he should get his arse kicked.

What an unhinged psycho. Losing it on a customer with kids, seems like maybe that trashy POS is burnt out from being on the water. Maybe get a real job.

Was that his dad he was yelling at or a customer?

Guy lost his mind. Whatever happened was clearly an accident. Needs to show restraint especially if kids are there with a dad
Completely different if it's 3 drunk arse college guys

Just saw that video! Crazy. I’m sure there’s more to the story. The fact that the guests are from the U.K. makes me believe they were being rude to the captain and didn’t even realize it.
I side with the Captain

Always confuses me when people say shite like this. So because a guy hurt your feelings and said bad words in front of your kids (after you almost kill him), you think a proper response is to physically assault him (also in front of your kids) because they sets an even better example for them

Math checks out

Two conchs claiming the captain settled down and the group even tipped the Captain $200 after that..frick that! Customer probably slipped and was probably in area he wasn’t suppose to be but poor guy probably just made a mistake in heat of action.. captain reaction is out of line.. be upset, end the trip, but after that reaction, I want to be as far away from that captain as fast as possible

Capt could have hit the prop when the boat jerked and he fell. He overreacted, but he could have reasonably died. The guest chose to finish charter and tip captain. Pretty beta to then blast capt on social media.

$200 tip for the Captain would be cause for walking the plank, I tip our mate $500 for half a day

Are you insane? You can clearly see two young kids in that video. That dude was raging, not just upset. He looked like he was going to go after the dad. I'm that dad, his arse is going overboard.

There's two sides to every story but here's the deal- you keep your shite together snd when there is children involved you always keep your head,
Maybe the dude catches a lot of fish but I'll be goddammed if I get on a boat with him, this is the exact guy that you never want anything bad to happen with,
Keep your head, this is Pathetic behavior from a grown man

maybe don't act like an idiot and almost kill someone in front of your two kids?
eta: captain makes it sound like the guy wasn't listening before this exact incident. some people have no respect for boats/being on big water
