Under my fingernail itches!!!

I feel like the area under my fingernail itches. Not the exposed skin- the area under the actual nail.
Any suggestions? My nails look quite healthy so I don't immediately think this is a sign of a problem. But damn, talk about an itch you can't scratch.

It's just a microscopic worm (or worms) burrowing into the flesh under your nail.
At some point you got dirt or some material with some eggs under there and they multiply and feed off the moist flesh under the nail.
It starts with itching. Try soaking it in hot rubbing alcohol.
If that doesn't work, try freezing it.
If none of that works you'll need to physically pull the nail off to get to them. Or it could get worse.
If you don't do something and they multiply for long enough, you could even end up like this
