Good evening everyone! I have a pretty awesome announcement to make. Starting tomorrow morning, I will be doing live weather updates for the United Cajun Navy! When you think Cajun Navy, you think about boat rescues, and communities taking care of one another. While that’s absolutely true, this organization does so much more. I’ll take this straight from their website, LINK United Cajun Navy offers support needs for children all across the United States. We provide relief efforts through fundraisers, community building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. We have several locations through out the United States for our supply chain to reach people in need all over. United Cajun Navy has provided Holiday meals, toys, medical supplies, generators, and much more at no cost to those who need them.”

I wanted to get this going ASAP to get ahead of this next tropical system, and help them get the message out to as many people as possible. I’ll be doing live updates for them after I do my morning live update here. I’ll be focusing on any sort of impact weather events on the Cajun Navy side of things, but don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere! I’m able to help them because of the local support of subscribers and sponsors to this page. I’d also like to give a huge shout out to Baron Weather for allowing me to collaborate with the Cajun Navy on this project. Streaming all of this data isn’t a cheap undertaking, and they are allowing me to add this massive coverage area into my plan at no extra charge. This world is so much better when we just take care of one another. I’m so ready to start this new venture with a group that does so much good for so many communities!
