Used Tires in Baton Rouge?

Anybody know a good used tire shop in Baton Rouge?
I have a work truck that only sees about 3k miles/year. The current tires have plenty of tread but are starting to show serious signs of dry rot. Don't feel like spending $800 to $1k for tires that will likely not reach 20k miles before they age out.

Wear a Kevlar vest and have a gun on you. Stay safe traveling on Florida Boulevard.

I've used them several times for the same exact reason. Work truck that basically saw 3k miles a year. Tires are a decent price and I think I would go either Sat or Sunday morning as soon as they opened and was able to get in and out there in a timely matter.

Not sure if it's still there, but that hole in the wall shop on Sherwood across from Harbor Freight had damn good prices. Think I paid like $40 installed for 1 tire like 2-3 yrs ago for a camp truck I had at the time. The old Egg Roll King restaurant I believe was the name where the tire shop took over.

Flea market in prairieville has a tire operation on the south side of the property on Airline Hwy.

If you pay the shop in cash at the one on Florida and 22nd they'll balance and install for $30/tire used with no sales tax.

I don't know that place although I'm rarely in that area these days. I drove down Florida last weekend for the first time in quite a while.
Saw a hood throw down in the Walgreens parking lot at Sherwood and Florida too at 10am. I was waiting on the lead to start flying

Good advice all around. Consensus is: Go early, bring iron and Kevlar. Will try southeast.

Go online to bestusedtires.com. I have bought from them a few times for an old truck. They are cheap, guaranteed, and bring them into any tire shop and have them mounted. Walmart will mount them as well. Doing this you can stay away from the questionable parts of town, sans Walmart.

There is a little shop off of Sherwood I think it’s called Sherwood tire shop. Owner is very nice and has decent priced used tires and new tires. I would be in an out in around 10-15 minutes when I used to go there

There’s one in Prairieville off airline. Might be worth it to go there and not Little Mogadishu and lose your life.
