Shag carpet on the walls…cheap shelf liquor and you were lucky to get a splash of anything…the jukebox…and the Christmas ball lights. Great memories.

The Bayou was the best IMO
Thirsty Tiger and Happy Note were the places you met people that may not have been your girlfriend ... also had the stiffest drinks.

I had heard that Old New Orleans on lobdell was where the Happy Note folks went after it closed. Similar pour.
