Haha I remember that

Mike Toole— both as Superfan doing tomahawk chops during basketball games, as well as deadlifting randomly at the rec while cutting wrestling promos in the Mirror between sets.

SHAFT protest. Students raising Hell About Football Tickets. I guess they went up in price or something. Big protest in free speech alley. I remember a guy dressed as Shaft-man (basically a Superman outfit).

Bicycle guy with dog cage! Loved that man. He was everywhere.

I remember him. The dog was way up high. I used to see him around the lakes. I read a newspaper article about him and he road around picking up loose change from all over BR. He seemed pretty thrown off.

LSU basketball loss to Kentucky in 1994. LSU led by 30 with 15 minutes left.

There's this guy on campus now that goes barefoot everywhere

If we’re thinking of the same guy, then he is shirtless sometimes too. Saw him in the quad earlier this week...very strange

Not sure if it’s happened more than once but I remember that happening the spring my freshman year 2010. He was an exchange student from India and his wife had just left him or something like that. Didn’t die right away either lived for like another day or 2.

yea I probably just got my years wrong. Spring 2010 was when I graduated. Just didn’t seem like that happened that close to me graduating.

It happened a literal 5-10 min before I was in the vicinity for my O Chem class

Last I saw him was probably around 2010 or so. It’s been awhile.

My parents were proud LSU alumni of the 50's (Everybody's All-American era), so when my oldest brother enrolled, it was a moment of family pride.

We showed up to visit him the first week of school in North Stadium dorms, 1980 (Animal House era). I was 8 years old, so this was a cool adventure. There were no numbers on the doors, so we couldn't figure out which room my brother was in on the fifth floor.

While searching, we kept hearing these torturous screams echoing down the hall, coming from a dorm room, like someone was getting whipped and lashed repeatedly. My dad was so curious, he decided to knock on that door to ask for help finding my brother.

A guy opens the door wearing a full Batman costume. We asked if he knew my brother's room, and he so kindly and politely said, "Yeah, two doors down."

He closed the door, and the screaming soon commenced again. Two doors down, we found my brother.

I've got more stories, but that's a good starter. I saw some crazy shite at LSU back when it was Party School #1.

Girl's mom was temporarily staying with her in her dorm right after Katrina.

2 o'clock in the morning rolls around and the mom comes in wasted with a guy trying to check in and head to daughter' dorm room.

Come to find out the daughter was out of town with friends and the guy the mom was planning to hook up with was one of the daughter's professors.

A guy transitioning to female ... in the freaking 80s.

Wore dresses and Bobbie socks to class.

Hell, out gays were rare in those days. Trans was unheard of.

Professor Frank Maraist buying a keg and throwing an annual fall party at law school. He coauthored the textbook, and Louisiana's ethics laws wouldn't allow him to keep the profits made from assigning the book he wrote as the class textbook. So, he took the money and bought a keg for his class every year.

Professor Litvinoff ignoring the campus's new smoke-free policy and teaching Contracts with a cigarette in-hand.

Seeing David Duke in Free Speech Alley and also campaigning at the Rodeo back when he was running for Senate (or governor?).

Short little fellow named Nick showed up and started getting the football team some notoriety. Wonder what ever happened to that guy?

Litvinoff recorded a skit for Assault and Flattery (I think 2007) with him smoking in the classroom.

He used to brag that he'd get there early in the morning and go smoke around Costonis' office just to piss him off, lol.
