What does phi alpha mean to SAE fraternity members?

Why is such a secret ? I have a friend who has refused for twenty years to tell me, it's kind of a long running joke now but he won't budge. He has absolutely nothing to do with that fraternity now either.

Most fraternity secrets are on the web. Takes a bit of google-fu but you'll eventually find it. The hard part is knowing which stuff is actually true though.
ETA:
I actually just googled my fraternity (Delta Chi) to see if anything new was out there and there's a TD thread from 2014 where some dude says he knew the "secret handshake"...which he didn't. And wouldn't as a pledge.
