What is a butterface?

I've been on TD awhile and still would not be able to point out a butterface versus not a butterface in real life.
Please post a butterface versus a non-butterface so I can learn.

Rockin' body, but her face is really bad. A chick you'd bone, but only with a bag on her head and from behind so you don't see her butterface.

Growing up in the 1990's, my friend group had a serious debate about whether or not Tori Spelling was a butterface. I wouldn't say she was ugly, but there was something odd about her face.

Absolutely. It's not so much ugly (outright ugly is a different category, I'd argue), it's just there is something clearly "off" for which you can't necessarily put your finger on.
I was trying to think of a celebrity who would meet the definition. She's a good one.
