What is good to put in a gift basket for recovering from wisdom teeth removal?

The girlfriend is having her wisdom teeth removed next week and I figured I'd put a little something together for her to recover with. I've never had mine taken out, neither has anyone in my family, so other than the basic soft foods I have no idea what to throw in this thing.
What are some items that are necessities and even some creative/different items to toss in there that you/your wife/GF would've liked when your procedure was done? I'm down to spend some money on this thing because I feel bad I'm forced to be out of state for most of this, and I'm an OT Balla, so it doesn't have to be only cheap shite.

Sun chips and beef jerky

Doritos are also an option,if she's not into Sun Chips. Also, cigarettes and a crazy straw for her drink.

I got a few seasons of 24 on DVD when I had mine taken out. This was prior to Netflix obviously.

Recovery is like 3 days. Don't go overboard.

If that- i had two of mine out senior year of high school and went to a dance that night. Slept like a bear the entire next day tho.
But if she's older and/or having them cut out, that can add a lot of time to recovery. Also an abcess after the fact can add pain and time to process.

Took me a week to recover, but I got dry socket
ETA: for some reason I had mine removed before they came in so they had to cut my gums open and fish them out.

Clove essential oil is good for aiding in recovery.
An iPad or other tablet if she doesn't have one.
An eye mask to help with day sleeping.
A nice ice pack because the one from the doctor sucks. (Actually two so you can rotate them and never be without)
Cute recovery jammies.

this. If she gets dry socket and can't make it to the DDS. office, this will help relieve the pain.

Peppermint, pretzels, chips, crunchy cereals, carrots, really anything hard that requires you to bite hard with your teeth. She may not appreciate it at the time, but teaching her to deal with some pain will be a lesson she will appreciate in the future and she'll love you even more for it

Not even that for some people. I got mine out first thing in the morning....was eating pizza and whatever else I wanted that night (my oral surgeon hooked me up with good pain meds though, so I'm sure that helped as well).
Gift basket for wisdom teeth removal? I mean it's a nice gesture and all but getting your wisdom teeth out isn't that big a deal for most people.
OP....maybe get her some of her favorite flavors of ice cream. Spend time with her on the couch watching whatever crappy girl tv she wants to watch.
ETA: Saw you won't be there. Offer to spend time watching crappy girl tv when you get back. She really picked a horrible time to schedule this though. Who gets their wisdom teeth out the week of Christmas??
